A little about me

My name is Brianne - I am a white, cisgender woman with a master’s degree in mental health counseling and sport psychology. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), and I have been in practice for just over 5 years. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked in community and school-based outpatient therapy programs, a substance use treatment center, and I’ve provided mental skills training to a variety of individual athletes as well as NCAA sports teams.

Before my professional career, I competed as a Division I cross country and track and field athlete. Working with a mental performance coach was my first introduction to the field of sport psychology. Learning a few tailored mental skills and building a relationship with a consultant who understood my experience developed my mental resilience and forged a stronger understanding of myself and my sport. Now working as a therapist and mental performance consultant, I strive to help others channel the powerful connection between the mind and body and achieve the sport, performance, or mental health outcomes they are looking for.

 FAQs

  • My practice is fully remote and based out of Massachusetts. I offer telehealth services on a secure, HIPAA compliant platform.

  •  I offer 30, 45 and 60 minute sessions, depending on your needs and availability. I recommend starting with weekly sessions, when possible, and scaling down as you start to feel better.

  • My out of pocket fees are $200 (60 minutes), $150 (45 minutes), and $100 (30 minutes).

I do offer a sliding scale based on financial need.

  • Yes! I am currently in network with private insurance plans through BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, and Optum plans (such as United Healthcare and UMR). *Please note that insurance can only be used for psychotherapy sessions. Mental skills training is not covered by insurance and is therefore an out of pocket cost.

  • That’s wonderful! Therapy and mental skills training are closely connected. If you live in Massachusetts, sessions can include both therapy and mental skills training. For those outside Massachusetts, I can provide mental skills training and happily refer you to a licensed therapist in your state.
